What is Tango Idol!
It is a Tango contest. Unlike other major dance competition, the Judge is the audience. It is the Audience that vote for their favorite Tango Couple. This contest is consist of 3 stages.
1st Stage: Stilo de la Pista competition.
Competing the basic skill of improvisation and Tango figures.
Competition should be hold in an actual Tango event with audience.
Judged by Professional Authorities and the audiences that are attending the event.
2nd Stage: Internet Popularity competition.
Competing the general communication skill and popularity.
The candidates will submit 3~4 movies.
People from all over the world will vote on internet, to their favorite couples.
3rd Stage: Stilo Show competition.
Competing the show case skill of Tango.
Competition should be hold in and actual Tango Event with audience.
Judged only by the audience.

Aim of Tango Idol!
◎ Scholarship
Tango Idol is nothing but a scholarship to encourage a talented Tango couple that can attract even people that are not Tango fans. We believe that it is these kind of Tango dancers that can spread that culture.
◎ Tango En-lightness
As the 2nd stage is the Internet Popularity Competition, it strongly advertise the culture. It advertises also the dance business of the candidates. Making the Milonga is really good, but we also have to know for non-tango-fans, milonga is really boring. With the Tango Idol! as an attraction, you can leach to the "and yet to be Tango Fans" very smoothly and explore more, pointing clearly to whom the potential next Tango fans where to contact when they decide to enter the world of Tango.

1) Site assistance
Tandrago will offer its very web site that can consist application form and internet voting system, and also a blog account so you can submit any news very easily and any time you wish in your language.
We will also create your own private Tango Idol! page within our site. For example if you are having Tango Idol in a Tango Festival in Taipei, we will create an independent page named "Tango Idol! Taipei".
2) Project illustrated format and other format
We offer a copy of project format that are described in English. You can just translate / adjust it in your language and use it to attract your sponsors and gather investments in your event. We also offer you an English application form so you can translate and use it to gather the participants. We also can offer you the "Judge Seet" designed and format well ready for you.
3) Saddle-cloth and other tools.
We have a set of Saddle-cloth, pins and 100 pencils. We can rent them for free for the Tango Idol! organizers.
(sending fee will be charged on the organizers) You do not need to make your own Saddle-Cloth if you don't have it unless it is taken by some other Tango Idol! organizers.
